ABOUT MICHELE BETTI

Michele Betti is one of the most respected and well-rounded equestrian trainer in the international scene. Trainer, judge, Olympic Coach, Team Selector and long-time FEI/FISE consultant, he has dedicated more than forty years to developing riders and horses through a method built on technique, ethics, biomechanics and true horsemanship.

His foundations were shaped by two Iconic Masters of Italian equestrian sport:

  • Graziano Mancinelli – Olympic Gold Medal, Munich 1972 (Show Jumping), with whom Michele worked for 11 years.

  • Mauro Checcoli – Double Olympic Gold Medal, Tokyo 1964 (Eventing individual + team), Michele’s first mentor and a decisive influence on his classical education.

This unique combination — two Olympic Gold Masters — shaped his philosophy: precision, discipline, deep knowledge and absolute respect for the horse.
